Aloha & welcome to our lush 11 acre OFF GRiD Paradise!
Experience eco-living on 10+ serene jungle acres with sweeping ocean views from the canopy. This sustainable retreat offers two bedrooms, two full baths, a private lanai, and your own entrance. Unplug, unwind, and explore the magic of Puna. Hosts live upstairs with children and pets, so you may hear household sounds, but your space is fully private.
This home operates completely off the grid meaning we gain 100% of our power from solar energy, our water is catchment (rainwater), and we have propane to power any gas devices.
You will have access to our beautiful property that you can explore at your hearts desire. The property features many edibles such as bananas, avocados, guava, mango, and many more!
Panoramic ocean views can be seen from almost every window of the house and even our lawn.
This private area to our home includes your own lanai with sweeping ocean views, two private bedrooms, two full baths, dining area, and a kitchen with a refrigerator, toaster, microwave, Keurig, rice maker, and dual burner stove to cook your meals. (The hosts live on the level above--your floor, lanai, and entrance are all completely private)
The two bedrooms are spacious with their own ocean view. You enter the unit from your own private entrance. The first bedroom contains a memory foam queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with dual vanity. Also features a large closet with some snorkel gear and children’s toys.
The second bedroom features a memory foam queen bed and a twin bunk bed. It also has a spacious closet for belongings. Both bedrooms have two large windows to look outside into the natural Hawaiian landscape. This unit has another large private bathroom right outside the second bedroom.
In the living area you will find two comfortable couches. A dining table, kitchen, and desk with chair for a workplace if needed.
The lanai is all yours to enjoy. There are chairs and a table to unwind, enjoy some cocktails, your morning coffee, or whatever you prefer. We also added a super comfy lounge set to chill out on.
This is on acreage in the beautiful, lush country area of the island, so please note that bugs, coqui frogs, geckos, wild pigs, and other natural life are more prevalent here.
The hosts, Kimberly and Delia, live in the upstairs area of the home with our friendly French Bulldog, Robin and children. The spaces are completely separated in the house for your own privacy. We don’t mind noise or music, and are as accessible as you would prefer us to be.
**The space does not have access to a Washer and Dryer, but we offer a paid laundry service where we Wash & Dry your clothes for you**
Recommend a rental car to get around this less populated area of the island. We do have another rental space on the property (Unique Greenhouse) which features two bedrooms one bath. Book together for large groups and/or events. (If hosting an event, please confirm details before booking.}
